Site of The International Monetary Fund was hacked

Network International Monetary Fund (IMF) had reportedly infiltrated by hackers. Perpetrators reportedly had broken through the defense system and instill reconnaissance applications.

The IMF does tegolong have very important data, such as economic conditions in many countries. So do not be surprised if the system becomes one of the hackers target.

Quoted detikiNet from the BBC, Sunday (06/12/2011), the perpetrator has successfully infiltrated the network system of the IMF and install a surveillance application.

That said, one of the staff of the IMF has warned about this incident by electronic mail some time ago. But the statement that claimed to see the discrepancy was ignored until the IMF realized had been attacked.

But unfortunately, the IMF did not disclose in detail about the impact of the burglary action.

"I am not in a position to elaborate further on this incident, but can I be sure that we are still investigating," said IMF spokesman David Hawley.
